Those in the property industry are reminded that from 6 April 2012 it will be necessary to commission an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before a property is put up for sale or offered for letting.
Written sales or letting particulars will also be required to include at least the first page of the EPC.
IN addition, where there is air conditioning, the air conditioning report will be required to be placed on the government register.
